Is RxRelay Health a pharmacy?
No. RxRelay Health is not a pharmacy and does not dispense medications. Pharmacies remain responsible for prescription review, dispensing, counseling, insurance processing, and final refill status.
Does RxRelay Health prescribe medications or give medical advice?
No. RxRelay Health does not prescribe, diagnose, change therapy, or provide clinical advice. Prescription and treatment decisions remain between the patient, prescriber, and pharmacy.
How does RxRelay Health work with my pharmacy?
When you authorize refill help, RxRelay Health contacts your chosen pharmacy using the available contact method, requests eligible routine refills on your behalf, and follows up for updates when appropriate. Your pharmacy remains responsible for final refill status, counseling, dispensing, and insurance processing.
How does RxRelay Health help patients?
With the right medication profile setup, patients and authorized caregivers can have RxRelay Health track refill timing, request eligible routine refills, help with renewal requests when refills run out, and send service-related updates when available. Patients can also choose reminder-only support if they want to decide by text which medications RxRelay should request.
Can a patient opt out of text messages?
Yes. Patients can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. They can request help by replying HELP. Message and data rates may apply.
Does RxRelay Health share personal information for marketing?
No. RxRelay Health does not sell, rent, trade, disclose, or share personal information, mobile numbers, or SMS consent information for marketing or promotional purposes.
What happens if there are no refills left or the prescription is expired?
If your pharmacy says there are no refills left or your prescription is expired, RxRelay Health will ask the pharmacy to send a request to your doctor for a new prescription or refill authorization. We will text you that the request was sent through the pharmacy, then follow up daily until there is an update. RxRelay Health does not authorize refills, prescribe medications, make clinical decisions, or guarantee prescriber approval.
Is RxRelay Health for urgent medical issues?
No. RxRelay Health is for routine refill support only. For emergencies or urgent medical needs, patients should call 911 or contact a healthcare professional directly.
